Merton Council commissioned Healthy Dialogues to conduct a Children and Young Person’s Needs Assessment for Substance Misuse in November 2023. They worked well with Council staff, Partners and involved Young People in Merton to achieve the outcomes required. The Community Connectors completed the Behaviour Change Training Levels 1 and 2 in January/February 2024. We were very well supported by the Healthy Dialogues team throughout, with clear instructions about what to do and training arranged at a time to suit us. Both the Level 1 and Level 2 training sessions were engaging and provided an excellent refresher on conversation techniques as well as insights into the psychology of readiness to change and the ways in which we respond to it.
